I went to the paces location and had an appointment with Elizabeth. She was truley wonderful and amazing. My hair was going through some changes after my baby and needed some help before my sisters wedding. I recieved the most beautiful hair color and highlights. we didn't change my haircut much since I wasn't ready for a big change. I appriciate the fact that she listened to my needs. I also got a treatment because my hair was lacking everything from baby. I felt so beautiful. I loved everything about Elizabeth that I convinced my sister to come and see her before the wedding. My sister loved her cut that she ended up having Elizabeth do her hair and makeup for the wedding. My sister and I looked marvulous and we owe it all to Elizabeth. We are hooked. Thanks.

I have grown up in the Atlanta area and have used many high end salons. Carter Barnes is by far superior to all the other salons in town.!! I have never gotten any unpleasant surprises, unlike the other salons I have used. Chad colors and cuts both my hair and my teenage daughter's. He listens but also gives his opinion. He does an amazing job and his work is always consistently outstanding. He has never let us down. Thank you Mitchell, Carey, and staff for providing such a professional place. Sandi

I have been going to Carter Barnes for a few years now. Just wanted to leave a post to say how great Ray is at the Phipps location. He is excellent and very professional. I always leave with a great cut. Ask for him. If he's booked ask for Yang.

I don't understand the others reviews on here because everytime I go to Carter Barnes at Phipps Plaza I have an excellent experience. I have gone to this salon for over 15 years. The front desk staff is exceptionally helpful. Especially Cameron-he is the best. He remembers my name everytime I visit the salon. The Stylists are amazing and I also look wonderful when I leave. This salon is a must to go to!
Wish I never went - Worst Haircut EVER!

I have never been one to write a review but I feel the need to express how upset I am after my first and last haircut at Carter Barnes. The receptionists are rude and unfriendly, the stylist clearly did not listen to what I wanted. I am now out $150 for a simple haircut and waiting for my grow to back! Completely overpriced and just all around not a very good experience! I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone!
