Home to a large population with a huge variety of interests, Atlanta has cultural attractions that cover the entire scope of entertainment and education. Underground Atlanta has an entertaining mix of restaurants, bars and tours that makes it a fun escape no matter the time of day. Sports are always a big draw, with easily recognizable destinations like Turner Field and the Georgia Dome. Arts enthusiasts can head to the High Museum of Art or watch a show at the historic Fox Theatre.

History
Atlanta's long and storied history is reflected in its abundance of museums and historical places. Major features like the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site and The Atlanta Cyclorama each preserve history in their own unique ways. Historic homes like the Margaret Mitchell House & Museum and the Hammond House Museum give glimpses into the different ways of life in decades and centuries long past.

Family-Friendly
Starting with the heart of the city, many of the big nearby attractions have been created with the enjoyment of the whole family in mind. The New World of Coca-Cola, Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium are some such attractions, as is the farther abroad Fernbank Museum of Natural History. Others, like the Imagine It! children's museum, are havens built especially for children to play safely and comfortably.
