Also called The Fabulous Fox, the mosque-styled Fox Theatre was built in the late 1920s and was originally intended as headquarters for the Shriners. Redesigned as a performing arts theater, it now sees world-class performers and groups grace its stage, including numerous touring Broadway musicals. The theater is in Midtown, just blocks east of the Georgia Institute of Technology campus and close to attractions including the Georgia Aquarium and the Georgia Dome.
